About

Hello! My name is Josh, and I am a Christian, homeschooled teenager who is writing for the glory of God. Since I just started blogging, I don’t have much I want to say here yet, but here’s what I have so far:

  • I am a Christian.
I tell you this because I want you to know about my beliefs which will shape the content of this blog.
  • I am not a Catholic.
Which would mean that I’m a protestant. I can’t relate myself to one specific denomination though because my beliefs don’t comply with one denomination. I guess the closest one would be Reformed Baptist, but I’m not a Baptist.
  • I’m not being hunted by the FBI or the CIA or NSA.
But another friend of Trey Edwards is. Just wanted to make that clear.
  • The previous fact is very important.
Really. I’m not being hunted. I’m not being hunted by anyone else either.
  • I really don’t have that much to say at this time.
  • I’ll try again later.
But this is my second try so I’ll probably revise this again.
  • My first post was better than this.
    Much better.
  • Maybe I’ll replace this with that.
    Never mind. I won’t.

  1. Hey!
You said you’re not Catholic. Maybe you could post something about Catholicism and what’s wrong with it (personally, I believe it’s false…you?)

  2. Good idea! I was wondering what to write about next. Any other ideas are appreciated as well.

  3. After thinking the idea over, I realized that some of my knowledge on Catholic traditions is a little old. This topic will require some research to see what has changed since… the Reformation, probably. I still plan to write about it, but it may be a little while till I get anything out on it.

  4. It is always good to know that you are not being hunted by the FBI, CIA, or NSA. You would be a good person to write about Catholicism, Josh

  5. I was thinking the same thing as Mike… It’s very good that you are not wanted by the FBI, CIA, or NSA. I was curious about that… I mean you never know with the Internet… and you ARE a friend of Trey… (Jk Trey, don’t take it seriously) and Mike too… (again, jk, don’t get mad!)
Oblivia (and that was not a typo!)

  6. Ok, on the topic of Catholicism, there is a blog that is by a Catholic girl that Eric Novak had a link too and she explains what and why she believes. I thought that might be helpful. My heart personally starts aching when I hear people so adamant about Catholicism when there are so many things that are unbiblical in it! Even just the fact of confession, There is ONE mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ!!!!!! So I would like to hear about that too! here is the blog address: http://www.lily-maiden.blogspot.com/ I hope that helps.
    In Christ,
    Olivia

  7. Thanks for the link, Olivia. I can’t complain about a shortage of content now! Since it may be awhile until I can get this out, I’ll be posting something on politics very soon. Maybe even tomorrow. Oh wait. It’s past midnight… so I’ll try posting that later in the day.

On a separate note, I wanted to say that it’s extremely important that you understand that I am not being tracked or hunted by anyone. I say this because another friend of Trey’s is being tracked and hunted (and don’t believe those footnotes at the bottom of that link – it’s all lies). I just wanted to be clear on that.

  8. Nice, you are joking right? That sounds like me and my friends goofing around. Whenever we can’t find one of our friends we say that she “died”. She has “died” over a hundred times probably. It is quite interesting.

  9. # I am a Christian.
    # I am not a Catholic.

lol good description! Sadly we are mistaken by less informed people as Roman Catholics. It’s happened to me various times!

Good to know you’re not hunted by the FBI – I myself need to be careful being a foreigner. Ok, lol bad joke.

Haha dude, maybe I’d like to know how old you are.

  10. I like the revised edition! Very nice. We go to a reformed Baptist church, but we don’t see ourselves as baptist. We see ourselves as evangelicals. We have only gone to a Baptist church for 3 1/2 years anyway. Before that we went to E Free, which we liked, but my dad got a job at a Baptist church.

  11. Hey, I just noticed that it says you are homeschooled! Dude, that is awesome! I am homeschooled too (the reason I am so mature hu?).

  12. Hey, guys, why are you all (or y’all as it is said down here[AL]) acting like being hunted is a bad thing? Shouldn’y we rejoice in being persecuted for the faith? Nothing would make me happier than to be hunted for my faith.

  13. Josh just complained via IM that I am being too serious. so, here ya go guys, the ultimate proof that I am a really fun guy:

    😀

    A SMILEY!!!!

  14. RE: olivia (or oblivia):

Yeah, almost all christian teenage bloggers are homeschooled. A lot of christian familes try to keep their kids out of the negative atmosphere that public and private schools generate. However, Mike is privately schooled.

I saw “oblivia” in your letter about worththewait, and I thought is was a typo. …is there a cool meaning behind it?

  15. Haha. Yup, Trey actually is a fun guy. He and Josh were having a war (Josh was Darth Vader and Trey was Luke (or was it the other way around)) last night via IM. IT was quite strange… but very entertaining! Very.
Yeah the name Oblivia (as I sort of mentioned last night) I got when someone was trying to get my attention and I was staring into space and in my own world. It spread and now a lot of my friends call me that… especially the ones that know me well! And all my camp friends, but there is a story as to why they do it too. I am not going to into details *everyone cheering*.
I agree that it is an honor and a privilege to be persecuted for our faith (As you have read!!!!!)!!!!! I’ll ttyl guys!

  16. I agree with you on the Darth Vader and Luke thing. THEY are quite strange.

I also agree with the being hunted thing. I was just messing around (as usual, for those of you who don’t know me).

  17. Trey started it. He started it a long time ago.

    13 de abril de 2008

22:57 Yo: OK, where were we?
    22:58 Trey: uh… I am your father…
    Yo: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can tell how distressed I am because I don’t yell that much
Trey: Yes… it is true… fulfill your destiny…. destroy your Vista machine…
22:59 Yo: Wait. If I’m your son, then I’m supposed to convert you back to Windows
Trey: and, once you have embraced the Power Of Open Source, You will be the most powerfull being in the galaxy (except for me)! And, Together, WE WILL RULE THE GALAXY!!!!!

  18. “We will rule the galaxy!!!”? How about “We will rule cyperspace!”

  19. haha!!! Nice. You guys are very strange, but in a good way. I still don’t think you are as strange as my friends though. You should hear some of the things they say. They are so random.

  20. I have a couple of friends who are random. They will just say something completely off-topic and everyone will crack-up. They are from my school

  21. Hey man, lol 9 times out of 10 people pronounce my actual name Roshan wrong. So I’m making it easy by making it Sean so I don’t have to teach every single person I meet my right name. Really convenient given I’m beginning college in less than two weeks, where I’ll be meeting a lot of new people!

Is your full name Joshua or is it just Josh?
